Privacy
What BETCYON stores, why, and what it never does with it. Last updated 30 September 2026.
Your account
Your email address, your password stored only as a salted hash (PBKDF2), when the account was created, whether the email address is verified and until when you have Pro. With the account BETCYON also keeps what you save: favourite games, saved market selections and your odds format.
Payments
For each Pro invoice BETCYON keeps your account and email address, the amount, the wallet it was paid to and, once paid, the TRON transaction and the address it came from. Transfers on the TRON network are public by nature: anyone can look them up.
Your email address identifies your account. BETCYON sends no email today; when address verification and password recovery by email are switched on, it will be used for those messages only.
The cookie and your browser
BETCYON sets one cookie, betcyon_session, which keeps you signed in. The browser's scripts cannot read it, it is sent only over HTTPS, and it ends after 24 hours or when you log out.
Your browser keeps a few things for BETCYON itself: before you sign in, your favourite games and odds format; your Moneybook watchlist; a note that tells other open tabs you signed in or out; and a mark that counts a visit to the home page once per tab. They stay on your device.
Counting visits
BETCYON counts, per day, how many times each step towards Pro was taken, such as the home page opened, the sign-up form opened, an account created or a payment page opened. The counts carry no identity, cookie, address or browser details and are kept for 90 days.
What the server records
When a request fails, the web server records its technical details, such as the IP address, the address requested and the browser's headers, to find and fix the fault and to protect the service. IP addresses are also held briefly in memory to limit repeated attempts, such as sign-ins and price checks.
Who else receives it
No one, for advertising or anything else: BETCYON shows no advertising, sells no data and loads nothing from other companies into your browser; its fonts, images and scripts come from betcyon.io. A link to a sportsbook takes you to that sportsbook's site, where its own privacy terms apply.
Your choices
You can log out at any time, and change your password in Settings. To have your account and what it keeps deleted, write to the contact on the About page from the email address of the account.
BETCYON does not place bets.
